US actress, singer, entertainer. Music Award. Shield shaped award with metal plate mounted on Shield shaped wood plaque. The award features the theatrical faces of "comedy/tragedy" at the top and reads; "The Fred Allen Humanitarian Award / Pearl Bailey / November 5, 1983." Bailey was known for her philanthropic efforts and was a favorite of many US Presidents. A very nice piece in excellent condition.Item #7351
