[Film] Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. Archive of 6 original silver gelatin vintage photographs used as lobby cards in movie theaters. Miramax Films, 1994. All are 8" x 10" in glossy black and white. Pulp Fiction is Tarantino's second feature film that follows the lives of two mob hitmen, a boxer, a gangster and his wife, and a pair of diner bandits across time with tales of violence and redemption. The film won the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival and Best Screenplay at the Academy Awards. Balancing self-references, unconventional structure, and homage to other films, it has been described as a major touchstone of postmodern film. Its mix of violence, dark humor and dialogue established a new style of crime film and made Tarantino one of the most influential directors of his generation. Photos feature the iconic stars Harvey Keitel, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travlota,. Bruce Willis and Uma Thurman in scenes from the film, along with a behind the scenes photo of Tarantino and producer Lawrence Bender.
