Additional images document urban and harbor scenes in Tsingtao, China, as well as street-level views showing American servicemen in rickshaws, public spaces, and informal gatherings. The album includes group portraits of sailors, recreational scenes such as a boxing match observed by assembled personnel, and interactions between servicemen and local civilians, including one image of Chinese women operating a loom observed by U.S. personnel. Handwritten captions appear throughout, identifying locations and activities. Family photographs are interspersed among the wartime images.
