Archive of 9 stereoview photographs bearing a double 6" x 3" inch photograph showing various scenes from turn of the century Egypt. 1896-1900. Images include the Temple of Luxor, village women carrying pitchers of water on their heads, a caravan at the Tomb of the Khalif's, the Virgin's tree, and the Great Nile Bridge. Locations are marked beneath the images in text. 5 include identifying information in multiple language on verso. Most are marked "J.F.Jarvis, Publisher, Washington, D.C" in cursive script with small black "x" mark in corner and "Sold only by Underwood & Underwood New York, London, Toronto, Canada, Ottawa, Kansas." Images are clear and detailed. Most in very good condition.Item #18092
