A group of 8 different black & white press photos of President John F. Kennedy. One photo is stamped on verso "White House 6 Sep. 1963 Abbie Rowe". One particular photo shows Kennedy pinning a medal on the uniform of four star General. Other photos show Kennedy standing side by side with the general and members of Kennedy's cabinet in the background. Barry Goldwater is also seen standing in the background of some of the pictures. These photos are from September 1963, just 2 months before Kennedy's assassination. These original press photo taken by photojournalist within tight timeframe for the benefit of particular editorial board and with the aim of usage by the press to illustate an article often affected public opinion in the nation.
