This book was the third installment of the five Tom Ripley series of which the original storyline was adapted into film three times. Highsmith has admitted to most of her personal relationships being with women as she also authored the lesbian love story The Price of Salt which was published under the pseudonym Claire Morgan. Priceclipped. Edge of dustjacket spine has some wear, overall very good condition. This first edition was published in the same year following the UK edition.
