About 32pp. Pictorial wraps. A compilation of short stories, poetry, research articles, events, opinion, services, resources, and news from reader submissions and various LGBTQ sources such as Iconoclast and Lavender Woman. Though published in D.C., news and submissions hail from all parts of the U.S. Illustrations and photographs throughout. Included are May-June 1972, Vol. I, No. 2, and Jan-Feb 1973, Vol. I, No. 3. One article titled "Sexism in Children's Literature" dissects the stereotypes that shape past and future generations. Another article titled "The Trials of a Gay Teacher" talks about the struggles of homosexuals in the teaching profession, their representation, and experiences with discrimination. Mild sunning to top edge of 1973 issue. Staples and pages otherwise in tact, crisp, and clear. A very informative archive on LGBTQ life and news of the early 1970s published by queer D.C. students. Overall very good condition.
