Clinton, Bill and Gore, Al. Presidential inauguration cufflinks, 1993, commemorating the inauguration of the 42nd President and 45th Vice President of the United States. The pair records the Clinton Gore transition into national office following the 1992 election, using the United States Capitol, fifty stars, campaign names, and the inaugural year as its principal visual elements.

Along the white outer circle appears the inscription “Inaugration of President and Vice President.” Two red flags are incorporated into the design, one reading “Clinton” and the other “Gore,” with “1993” at the bottom. The design explicitly links the objects to the January 1993 presidential inauguration rather than to the general election campaign.
