Warhol, Andy. Six original photographic lobby cards issued in connection with the release of Trash in 1970. Five cards display the printed title of the film and the name Andy Warhol along the lower margin. The images feature Holly Woodlawn in heavy makeup posing in various scenes from the film, often alongside actor Joe Dallesandro, who portrays the central character. One lobby card shows Dallesandro with actress Jane Forth posed in an intense promotional portrait. The photographs present performers associated with Warhol’s Factory, an artistic collective that produced numerous experimental films and performances during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
