Archive of 9 silver gelatin photos documenting Hepburn’s performances in the sweeping historical drama “War and Peace” and romantic comedy “Roman Holiday.” 7 black and white photographs measure 8"x10" and show Hepburn in 1956, in full costume on the set of “War and Peace." One photograph, which measures 4"x6", shows Hepburn and husband Mel Ferrer arriving at Heathrow for the film premier of “War and Peace”. One photo measuring 8”x10” shows Hepburn bidding farewell to Gregory Peck and Eddie Albert in “Roman Holiday.” All photographs in very good condition, some with minor wear or very small stains. This unique archive documents Hepburn's elegance and beauty early in her career.
