Academy Award winning U.S. Actress and star of such films as "Barefoot in the Park and "Julia". This 5pp DS dated "April 6, 1976" concerns her services in the 1977 release "Julia" in which she played writer Lillian Hellman. The document reads in part; "LENDER: Jayne Production Corp... ROLE: 'Lillian'... Guaranteed Compensation: Lender shall receive $400,000, plus an additional $50,000 within 18 months after the initial United States release of the picture, plus ..". The document goes on to define Ms. Fonda's transportation, the care of her children, and her credits in the film. Handwritten annotations on the contract read in part "...Full consult w Fox on New D +Script if 2 falls out... G.S. says we'll be satisfied..." There are red pencil check marks beside several of the points in the contract. Signed on the first page, in black ink, "Jane Fonda". In excellent condition.
