[Film] Francois Truffaut's Classic Relationship Triangle "Jules and Jim" (1962). Archive of 3 original vintage silver gelatin photographs used as lobby cards in movie theaters. Photos are 8.5" x 10". Glossy and in black and white. Jules and Jim is a French New Wave romantic drama set during World War I that follows a love triangle of three characters. The throuple relationship combined with its use of quick cuts and freeze frames made the film innovative at the time and earned its inclusion on Empire Magazine's list of the 100 Best Films of World Cinema in 2010. Photos feature still images form the film, all including Jeanne Moreau who won the Best Actress award at the 1962 Etoile de Cristal awards and whose performance is now considered the archetype of French New Wave actresses. Other photos feature actors Henri Serre and Oskar Werner. Two photos have detailed captions in the lower white margin describing the scene, and one has the title of the film and Jeanne Moreau in lower white margin/ One image has small pinholes in corners, but does not affect the image.
