Cooper of 20 photographs and a letter recommending promotion. 20 color photographs mostly featuring American soldiers in Vietnam, most of them in uniform, Includes 15 Kodak snapshots, each 5 x 3 1/2" or smaller, featuring Sergeant Cooper and fellow soldiers, most if not all taken in Vietnam. 4 black and white Agfa snapshots, each 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in., featuring Sergeant Cooper, fellow soldiers, and Vietnamese children. -- One Polaroid photograph featuring two African American men standing next to Sergeant Cooper with written captions. Other photos are on the base documenting Cooper's time in Vietnam with his unit. Includes typed letter of recommendation for the promotion of Sergeant Howard L. Cooper. Signed by Transportation Supervisor Alice J. Griffin. Fort Ord, CA, 14 November 1973. 1p, 8 x 10 3/8 in., pinholes, discoloration, and ink smear to upper edge. Very good condition.Item #18575
