Press Kit for 1999 Bugatti EB 218 and 18-cylinder engine, the first of its kind to be used in a passenger vehicle Concept Car
Book
This press kit is for the Bugatti EB 218, a concept for a luxury four door sedan wich would have been one of the most expensive automobiles ever sold. Large 12” x 8” inches. Includes color high end photographs of cabin, exterior, and engine. Press kit is in German. This concept car has warm toned leather interiors with lacquered wood accents and chrome vents. This was the second prototype produced since Volkswagen acquired Bugatti in 1998. The "218" refers to the 18-cylinder engine, the first of its kind to be used in a passenger vehicle. This engine, which was developed at Volkswagen, has three rows of six-cylinder banks which are joined in the shape of a 'W'. The EB 218 can be considered as an update of the EB 112, a concept saloon introduced by Bugatti Automobili SpA in 1993. Overall in very good condition. A concept car that did not get adapted into the main line of Bugatti vehicles, but in typical Bugatti fashion, still pushed the envelope with its engineering and design qualities.Item #17483
