Four page Civil War date congressional document titled "Report of The Secretary of War" regarding the number of three year volunteers in the Service of the United States. 9.75" x 5.75. 1862. The subject writes: "A resolution of the Senate of the 7th of January, in relation to the number of three years volunteers in the service of the United States, and the number of brigadier generals and other brigade officers that have been nominated to the Senate for its confirmation." Two pages show a table of the number of three year volunteers and their ranks from each state, it reads "Return of the aggregate number of three years volunteers that have been mustered into the service of the United States, the number of such volunteers, also the nmber of regiments from each State and Territory, designating the number of infantry, artillery, and dragoons." Overall very good condition with minor wear to edges.Item #12665
