Original staple bound wrappers. Transcript of hearings held in California and Texas, complete with photographic evidence, all black-and-white. The pictures show Cuban drug lord Alberto Sicilia-Falcon and his automatic weapons. Other photos depict a tank truck used to smuggle marijuana across the US/Mexico border, and part of a government seizure of cocaine with an alleged street retail level of $56 million. The US banned Marijuana in 1937.Up to the 1970s, drug trafficking in Mexico was considered to be a small family business, It was in the late 1970s, when this document is published that Mexico is just starting to become a major producer and distributor of narcotics. Very good condition.
