This original hand colored Arabian horse lithograph hails from the first edition of Dictionnaire Universel d'Histoire Naturelle, which is considered one of the premier encyclopedias of natural history of 19th century. Image of a strong Arabian horse in shades of tans and browns standing alert in a desert background, head slightly tilted towards the viewer's gaze. Overall in excellent condition.
