Eight page Civil War date congressional document titled "Report of The Secretary of War" regarding the cavalry forces of the United States. 9.75" x 5.75. 1862. The subject writes: "A resolution of the Senate of the 29th of January, in relation to the number of troops raised for the service of the United States, in each State of the Union." 7 of the pages show a table of the number of cavalry forces and their ranks from each state, it reads "Report of the cavalry forces of the United States, furnished in compliance with letter of Captain George D. Ruggles, assistant adjutant general, of Febrary 14, 1862." Overall very good condition with minor wear to edges.Item #12666
