Vintage newspaper printed during the Civil War. The New York Times, December 13, 1864 issue, New York, NY. The entire front page of this historic war-dated paper has stories of the War including "The War in Tennessee." In part: "...Seventy-four shots were fired at it, doing, however, no damage...Our troops attacked and routed the enemy. The Federal loss was four killed and forty wounded. The enemy's loss is unknown..." Slight wear and light foxing. Overall in excellent condition.Item #5678
