Anarchist political and direct action pamphlet group from 2002 to circa 2012, documenting the circulation of historical anarchist theory alongside contemporary writing on prison abolition, militarism, feminism, foreclosure resistance, criminal justice, mutual aid, environmental activism, and conspiracy politics. Much of the group was printed or distributed by A New World in Our Hearts in New York City, connecting reprints of Mikhail Bakunin, Errico Malatesta, and writing on Voltairine de Cleyre with contemporary texts by Peter Gelderloos, Wolfi Landstreicher, August O'Clairre, and others. The publications show anarchist print culture functioning simultaneously as political education and organizing infrastructure: nineteenth and early twentieth century arguments against the state were reproduced beside a practical training manual for disrupting foreclosure auctions, an abolitionist argument against prisons, anti militarist writing, and material connected to resistance against mountaintop removal coal mining. The group spans the decentralized publishing networks of Oak and Cactus Distro and Venomous Butterfly Publications through the New York distribution work of A New World in Our Hearts, preserving the inexpensive photocopied pamphlet as a working medium for transmitting anarchist history, tactics, and political argument during the 2000s and early 2010s.
