Lesbianism and the Women's Movement outlines the essence of lesbian/feminist politics and documents how the women's movement has responded to it. It critiques heterosexuality and shows why lesbianism is one of the fundamental issues of feminism today. The articles collected were written by The Furies, and were taken from Furies publications over a two-year period. Authors included are: Ginny Berson, Sharon Deevey, Charlotte Bunch, Barbara Solomon, Margaret Small, Rita Mae Brown, Loretta Ulmschneider, Coletta Reid and others. Cover features a portrait of an interracial lesbian relationship in sepia tones. Slight wear from age on cover, but textblock is tight and overall, in very good condition.
