[Film] Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part II starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Diane Keaton. Archive of 4 original vintage lobby cards. "Paramount, 1974." All lobby cards are 11" x 14" and in color. The Godfather Part II is both a sequel and a prequel to the first film, developing a backstory for Vito "Don" Corleone and following Michael Corleones future. The film is one of the rare moments where a sequel is regarded as more successful than the original, according to reviewer Roger Ebert. He cites the dark tones, philosophical nature of the film, and the loss of Michael's soul as key reasons for the sequels improvement upon the first film. The film was nominated for 11 Academy Awards and is regarded as one of the greatest films of world cinema by Sight and Sound Magazine. Images feature two action sequences from the movie, including one of Pacino as Michael Corleone and two of Robert De Niro as a young Don Corleone. All feature the title of the film, actors, Paramount logo and credits in a corner. All in very good condition.
