Vietnamese Independence Day- 1971 Color-printed poster promoting March in Presidio district, San Francisco; features the image of a smiling Nguyễn Thị Bình AKA Madame Binh - a Communist revolutionary Vietnamese leader, and the head of the Viet Cong delegation at the Paris Peace Conference which began the steps towards ending the Vietnam War in 1973.14" x 10" offset poster. Poster displays large text reading: Sisters celebrate Vietnamese Independence Day / Fight Germ Warfare / Attack the Presidio / Sept. 2 thru 5. San Francisco, 1971, contact address is listed as 1380 Howard St., San Francisco, which was used by a number of organizations, including Project One - an early San Francisco intentional community in the 1970's.
