Correspondence to Harry "the Bookie," regarding sales of her new book "Up in the Air: An Aviator's Wife's Story of Early Days of Commercial Aviation from 1924 to 1938," first published in 1977. Worthylake was the first licensed woman pilot in Alaska. She first soloed on July 27, 1932 and got her license in September of that year. She was one of the first members of the Alaska Ninety-Nines, an extension of the women's aviation club based in Los Angeles. Includes a photocopied newspaper article about the book with annotations by Worthylake. Very good.
