Original Printed Vintage Poster “Votes For Women 1915.” The combination of blue and yellow seems to have been preferred by the N.Y, Empire State Campaign Committee, led by N.Y suffrage , was gearing up for a highly anticipated vote for state level voting rights in 1915. New York became one of the first states to grant women the right to vote. This act helped usher in the 19th Amendment in 1920, which granted the right for citizens to vote, regardless of gender. Posters promoting women’s suffrage played a major part in the movement Poster officially proclaim women’s equality and pursue women’s legal voting rights before Women right to vote are very scarce and desirable Professionally restored and linen-backed with a few age related folds.
