A collection of press photos of Saudi Arabian rulers, King Saud, King Faisal, and a young Prince Mashhur. 7 silver gelatin black-and-white press photos, image sizes 5.5"x 7.5" through 7" x 9," published between 1957-74. An archive of 7 press photographs showing the Saudi rulers King Saud and King Faisal at various Arab Summit Conferences (Cairo, Algiers, and Rabat) and state visits with international political leaders (United Arab Republic President Gamal Abdel Nasser, Egyptain President Anwar Sadat, King Hassan II of Morocco, Syrian President Hafez Assad, and US President Dwight Eisenhower.) Other photos show King Saud leaving the Brigham Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts' where he had been a patient in November of 1957, and a photo capturing a tender embrace between King Saud and a young Prince Mashhur, enroute to the airport with US President Eisenhower. All images have written press notations on the verso, above or below the photo. One photo has ink markings to margin and press notations, not affecting image. These original press photo taken by photojournalist within tight timeframe for the benefit of particular editorial board and with the aim of usage by the press to illustate an article often affected public opinion in the nation.
